This place is like living in the building of the show "Good Times" you can't control the heating or air-conditioning in your individual apartment the building does it. For example, the heat in the building was on until the middle of April! really?!? who needs heat until then when its burning up outside most days! They certainly didn't mention that during the tour. Nor did they mention that they have a problem with roaches! I never had them until I moved here. Now the building air conditioning is broken and its been that way for five freaking hot days! Pathetic! Do yourself a favor and don't move here unless you like project living!

Overpriced and the management is rude to residents. They threatened to call the police on residents in the dog park. They dont care about resident concerns. Find somewhere else in pentagon city, trust me

Bottom line: Management is unresponsive and full of excuses. Concierge and Maintenance are great. Overall would NOT recommend to a friend. If you're looking for high-end amenities like functioning elevators, indoor smoke-free spaces, and actual access to the parking garage (don't get me started about these new scanners at the doors) AND you, selfishly, would like building management to be responsive and correct problems, look elsewhere. For what you'll pay to live here, the management-level customer service is abysmal. That said, what keeps this from being a 1-star review, from a 3+ year resident, is the lower-level staff. To a person, the front desk and maintenance teams are fantastic. They're friendly, welcoming, and do everything they can to help residents. I've seen front desk concierge carry packages for older residents, open and hold doors for residents with their hands full, and the maintenance team is quick to fix any and all issues we've had (including replacing our fridge/freezer and dishwasher over the years).

This building is terrible - don't waste your money! There is no soundproofing so you hear every time a car goes over a bump in the road (which is a lot because huge dump trucks and trash trucks and delivery trucks roar up and down the poorly maintained street outside). Staff is incredibly rude (except for the one longstanding staff member, Travell, who is an angel, but is only there half the day on weekdays) and turnover is extremely high so no one has any clue what they're doing and 0 motivation to find out for you. There's a bike room near the loading dock, but cars block that area frequently so you can't get your bike out, and the whole area reeks of trash because there's always a huge overflow of garbage piled everywhere. The residents are not clean - they dump open trash bags in the recycling, throw cigarettes off their balconies, and leave scooters and Costco carts all over the sidewalk. Something is always breaking and instead of fixing it, maintenance comes, moves all your stuff, and then claims there wasn't an issue in the first place. The leasing office never gets back to you when you need them and frequently don't know what they're doing either. They're also very passive aggressive. The elevators are always breaking. For instance, one elevator freezes on level 4 almost every day. I've complained about it 3x and they tell me there's no issue, it's supposed to be like that. Residents are strange - my next door neighbor leaves his door open to the hallway so we all have to see his living room set up. Utilities are split equally among all residents apparently, so it doesn't matter if you don't use your AC, you're paying for that neighbor who runs the AC on high with his porch door open. Don't be fooled by the number of porches - half of them are inaccessible because there is no door to go out onto the porch. They try and make it seem like this is a luxurious building, but it is a total dump and not worth the high rent.
