I love the variety of apartments, the fitness center is very nice with new-looking equipment, the renovated apartments look great. I love that this is a pet-friendly community.

Location is great and everything you need is within walking distance.Apartments are overpriced. They only change the appliances and flooring in the renovated units(not including washer and dryer). Complex is really nice but not cleaned as often as it should. Food left in back alley for days, tenants dont clean up dog poop and let their dogs pee in the corridors. Maintenance repairs are really slow even for the simplest request. More people are moving out then they can replace if that doesn't tell you something about this complex I dont know what will. Check out shirlington house that where most of the tenants that move out of here go instead.

Shirlington is a great area, and everything you need is within walking distance. Ideally, this is a very nice apartment complex, and they continue to TRY to improve it and renovate as much as possible. The pool is a beautiful area, they are adding firepits to courtyards, etc. Realistically, the complex does not run efficiently. Fire alarms wake you up out of your sleep on a monthly basis, appliances break easily, water leaks occur commonly, and renovations are never completed on time (we have been out of a gym for over 4 months now because they continue to push the deadline back). Rent is decent for the area, but expensive considering all of the things that go wrong. Lots of pros and cons.
