My lease was ending in and they increases my lease substantially. I tried to talk with a manager to negotiate about the increase. It was impossible to reach out to a manager. I went to office couple time, called couple times and left messages every single time and noone called me back. Finally after 4 weeks i was able to talk with a manager( Kody) and i explained him my situation and he told me he cant help me. So i sent them my notification to vacate. Couple days later Kody sent me another email that i have to pay one more month rent becuase i didnt give them 2 months notice and when i tried to explain him the situation he didnt even listen me. I sent at least 5 more emails and i didnt get any response. Finally i called again and they told me he quit and i explained them the situation and i have been told they will discuss with management and get back to me. I offer them paying at least half rent and return the key right away. 5 days later, i called them again and the manager told me she forgot to call me and they wont accept the offer.I just paid the rent today for a empty apt. I would never suggest these apt to my friends or anyone. Before you rent the place they are telling you how good communicator they are but when it is time to leave the apt they dont care about tenants at all.

This complex is terrible. Where do I even start?
Dog poop: you literally cannot walk two steps without almost stepping in poop. I can't even tell you how many times I have stepped in it. Clearly people aren't picking up after their dogs, so leaving passive aggressive notes on all the buildings is simply not enough.
Fees: the Park will basically charge you to breathe. Think of the innkeeper on Les Miserables.
Maintenance: didn't fix our sink -- it was still leaking after they came. They didn't bother to clean anything up and made a mess of our kitchen. You don't get to know when they are coming, so if you don't want a stranger alone in your home you have to take the whole day off work.
Shuttles: always down. They are terrible at communicating when they are down. My roommate waited for over a half an hour the other day without one shuttle (at 8:30am). By 5:00pm they sent an email notifying us that the shuttles were down. SO HELPFUL.
Parking: just don't ever expect to get a spot. Really lower your expectations and you should be fine.
Office: don't expect anyone to call you back. The bookkeeper works at several offices and is very rarely in the office. When we wanted to sign our lease and make the deposit, no one even called us for weeks. We should have taken it as a red flag. We eventually both had to stop in the office and force them to take our check and sign our lease. Office staff is basically incompetent.
Smoking: people will smoke in their homes and in the building causing the whole place to stink. Don't expect anything to be done about it.
Neighbors: we have lived in two buildings at the park and each time have had several neighboring units in which multiple families are dwelling. This causes loud noises, constant children screaming, frequent door slamming all throughout the day/night.
Basically, the gist is that this place is terrible. You couldn't pay me to live here. Save your money and go to the Avalon or AVA in the same area.

I love how the apartments were smoke free and the area was always clean. The shuttle was great! The 24 hour concierge was great! Maintenance fixed our problems right away. If we had to talk to someone in the main office, it was incredibly hard to reach them, or they had no idea how to help you. We even received the wrong bill and thought we owed almost $700 when we didn't. The storage space in the apartments were too small. There wasn't enough gym equipment and it was always broken.
