I have lived at Instrata for a year now and I highly recommend it! The location is unbeatable--right by the Pentagon City Metro, by the mall and by Pentagon Row shopping. Three grocery stores are within easy walking distance. (Harris Teeter, Costco, Whole Foods). Halfway through my stay at Instrata, they got Hello Alfred service. It's great! You get free weekly tidying and you can have groceries from any nearby store delivered for just 3%. That's much cheaper than any other delivery service, and the prices are just market prices. You can have things delivered right to your fridge! Hello Alfred also makes other services easy, like house cleaning. I even booked personal training sessions through them. Instrata staff are great. Debbie, the property manager, is extremely responsive, and I swear she knows everyone in the building . We have 24 hour concierge, and they are very helpful and friendly. The facilities are great--pool, large gym, billiard room, a piano, and several gathering spaces. I highly recommend Instrata Pentagon City.

The management staff is unsupportive and does not look out for the renters. I would not recommend anyone living here.

Honestly, this building might be the best in this area. Great location, great apartment. I can give five stars to the building with no doubt. However, I will also give 1 star (I wish I can give 0) to the leasing office with no doubt. If you are lucky enough and don't have any issue with the guys in leasing office, you might be fine. I have a golden retriever puppy here and her neck got bitten by a crazy large dog just in the LOBBY. My dog poos a little because of scary when she is struggling. I cleaned the floor after that and the owner of that crazy dog just walked away with no apology. I reported this to the leasing office and I'm afraid that the crazy dog could be dangerous to the residents here. And I was told to come to the leasing office next day noon. When I came to the office next day, the manager was making phone calls. Then the assistant manager told me she will call me when he finishes his call. And then I waited the whole afternoon and got nothing. The best part is I received a bill right in my door the next day. It says I will be charged $120 cleaning fee of lobby. That's the story. No apology, no explanation, but always charges. It seems that they don't care about the safely of residents here and what they do care is if there is someone can be charged. For me, it's really a disaster to live here. But for you, I'm not sure. It depends on if you are a lucky guy.
