I would sure answer this when the roach problem is solved.
I've been living at Dominion Plaza for seven months. Before moving in here, I'd been at another nearby Bell-managed community for three years. And prior to that place, I had owned and resided in a condo in an aging mid-rise building and had served on its board of directors for 6 years. So, I know a little bit both about Bell and about operating an apartment building. In my opinion, Dominion Plaza is very well managed. The management and maintenance staff are, in my experience, all friendly and competent - good at interacting with residents. They are also good at preventive maintenance, and they make a real effort to keep the place neat, clean and pest-free. I've been here seven months and have never once seen a roach in my place. I've made several service calls, and each time my issue was attended to within 24 hours. Parking is no problem. Living here is very easy and nearly stress-free. In my opinion, the best feature of the place is the (obviously upgraded) double-pane windows - which are better than those in any place I'd previously lived.
First, I am disappointed at the lack of professionalism and common decency that is not part of Bell Partners. You say we are a community; yet, you are not willing to work with tenants that have been here 25 years or longer. While there are some things that are good, there are other things that have changed, and not for the better. I would appreciate a call back to discuss them, thanks.
As of now I'm ok living in this comnunity.
