Living at this community feels like living in a 5-star hotel.
As stated previously, the apartment is lovely, staff is friendly and helpful, and the common areas just gives the entire building a very comfortable feel.
Overall, the Concord is a great place to live. The units are spacious and most have floor to ceiling windows with great views. The majority of the staff (front desk, maintenance, and leasing office) are very friendly and go out of their way to assist you. The apartments are a bit pricey, but is comparable to similar apartment buildings in the area. The location is decent. Within a few blocks are restaurants and the metro. As a runner, I appreciate being able to access the Mount Vernon trail from Crystal Drive. The roof is great with breathtaking 360 degree views. The downside is that the roof area closes at midnight. On a nice summer evening, it's embarrassing to have my friends and I "kicked out" when all we are doing is sitting and talking and enjoying the views. I'm a 40 year old man who pays $3500.00 a month to live at the Concord. It's insulting to be asked to leave the roof at any time. The roof area could also use daily cleaning. The grills are often filthy and unsanitary (ideally folks would clean up after themselves, but unfortunately that doesn't always happen). The hard wood lounge chairs should also be upgraded to something nicer. The Concord also has an indoor pool, but no one uses it because the water is always cold. What's the point of having an indoor pool if no one ever uses it, especially in the winter, because the water is cold? Other than my gripe with the roof and pool, I absolutely love living at the Concord and I would highly recommend living there to anyone!
Great service thanks to all the personnel
The quality of the amenities at the Concord exceeded my expectations. The apartment is equipped with top notch appliances, granite counter tops and wood floors. The common area's; elevator, hallways, lobby, courtyard, roof top deck, pool and gym are always clean, well maintained and presentable. The visitors that have visited me at the Concord are impressed with the residence.
