The Van Metre Park Georgetown Apartment community is nestled behind the beautiful Palisades neighborhood right near the Key Bridge in Rosslyn, VA. Super convenient for walking to the Rosslyn train station (10 minutes via walk/bike trail) or to various parks and hiking trails in the area. Also within walking/biking distance, and just across the Potomac river via the Key Bridge is historic Georgetown with all its shops, restaurants and nightlife. Georgetown University is also just across the bridge, making this an ideal location for off-campus University students. The Park Georgetown community is very family and pet friendly, and it's a very safe neighborhood as well. The shops, restaurants and nightlife at Clarendon are a 5 minute drive away. Mom's Organic Market, 7/11, Safeway, CVS/Target are the closest stores and all within walking distance.
Park Georgetown Community:
This property boasts some of the best property management we have ever had. Management is very responsive, and quick to address issues/repairs. There is a workout room available to all residents, an electronic package concierge, bike storage room, and multiple outdoor public grills on the property. The community is very pet friendly and includes several trails to walk a dog with pet stations conveniently located around the complex. In addition, you will find a shared patio/party space on the complex.
This apartment is truly a gem and we are sad to have to leave so soon after renewing our lease. A new work opportunity is bringing us away from the DC area, and we hope someone can enjoy this apartment as much as we have over the last two years.
