The worst apartment ever. My wheels got stolen twice in this apartment. No camera No Security. Save your money and yourself

We lived in this building for a few years.
1) The biggest problem - the management doesn't enforce its own community rules. You are lucky if you have good and quiet neighbors. If you don't, the management is not a big help. During our last year there, we had 2 neighbors who violated the community rules every week and the building management wasn't able to quiet them down.
2) There was a community of feral cats living at the neighboring territory in the back of the building. One of the residents used to feed them. The management forced the person to stop feeding the cats. We fed them when we saw them a few times wondering around the parking lot abandoned and in hunger. It was absolutely brutal and unnecessary to ban people feeding them as they never were disturbing.
3) One time the management added an additional monthly fee to our lease after it was renewed to another year and signed by both parties.
4) After we moved out, we were charged $80 cleaning fee, even though we fully cleaned the apartment and turned the keys over to the property manager. When we asked about that, the management couldn't explain what was wrong with the apartment, and said that was a standard charge.

Certified Resident

I've lived in this building for years and it's the first time that management has actively tried to create a more family-oriented atmosphere. They plan events for us like Christmas parties and a doggy swim (that was totally cute) at the end of the summer. The office staff is always trying to help out in any way they can. They finally fixed the door so that people like me who have a cable phone can use the call box.

New management is great! They are hands on and respond immediately to concerns. Undergoing renovation to further the quality of this development. Close to everything! Trains and metro. Bus at the door nearly! Safe. I really enjoy living here. Been here five years!
