From the waterfront to the King Street Metro, Alexandria is a lively neighborhood located on the west bank of the Potomac River, just six miles from Washington, DC. Restaurants, shops and historic attractions line King Street and the area is known for its architecture, antique markets, art galleries, and events. Post Carlyle Square offers its residents beautiful courtyards for relaxation and rooftop terraces for enjoying sunset views of Old Town.

Great apartments, very nice room. Apartment amenities are amazing, and the pool and gym are huge favorites. This apartment is in a great location with plenty around to do and I love the gated access, makes the community feel very safe.
Post Carlyle Square is absolutely amazing. It's a beautiful facility. I love the community events!!!! The staff is nice, helpful, and always goes above and beyond to be helpful. The fitness center is great!; lots of cardio equipment. The concierge staff is exceptional. All in all, this is a fabulous property! Liz
Quality living experience, conveniently located. Secure facility with many community offerings. For price, location and amenities, don't believe it has competition.
Although I haven't been here long, I have been completely satisfied. The front office staff is ALWAYS helpful, and are all knowledgeable. All of the concierge personnel are friendly and engaging. Maintenance responds promptly to requests and inquiries. The facilities are well-kept and up-to-date. I love that we have our own community event planners. The location is great, but location can't cancel out a bad vibe. Fortunately, that is NOT a problem here. I also love the underground parking! I'm very happy I found this place and look forward to exploring my new city. (And although I've been on my own for a long time, my mom came to visit and gave this apartment the parental seal of approval--i.e. she isn't worried about my safety.
I have really enjoyed the experience of leasing with Post Carlyle Square. The ease of the application process as well as friendliness and knowledge of those in the leasing office made it an easy decision to rent with Post Carlyle Square. My move-in was great with a clean apartment and no hassles. I have enjoyed the surrounding area and the ease of having my dogs with me at the apartment.

A resident who lives at the property and has completed a resident satisfaction survey.
Advertising properties provide a list of email addresses of its residents to Kingsley Associates, a third party market research firm, who then sends out the satisfaction survey to the residents. Properties may also conduct satisfaction surveys of its residents through other third party market research firms. In those cases, we will publish those survey responses as long as the questions conform to our standard survey format.
