I have been a resident of Key Towers since August 2001. I have enjoyed staying there very much. For me personally, it has been a very convenient place to stay. It provided me various routes of travel to get to my job over in Maryland. Multiple retail stores that were able to provide my every need from groceries to bulk items, gasoline, etc. Most everything within walking distance of the building. As few times as I have required maintenance during my stay there, the response has been outstanding. I love the fact that the building was built back in the 70's and relatively quiet. A few minor issues with other residents and music at 3 am, but when I contacted the Rental office staff, they were quick to resolve the issue. I would recommend to anyone I know who is looking for a convenient and safe place to stay, I would recommend Key Towers immediately. I would insure they were aware of all the local amenities about stores, restaurants, convenience stores, dry cleaners and the pool and weight room provided for the for free as a resident. As a last comment, I find your staff to be the best at what they do. Very professional and friendly and willing to help with any problems. You have great business model going with the crew you have there.
Key Towers is a relatively small property which is one of its best features. Because it's not a huge enterprise with complex and/or large scale problems, service requests are invariably responded to within hours, the services (e.g., pool, gymj, etc.) have a personal quality, and the front office staff has the time to be consistently helpful and friendly. I've lived here for about 6 years and I couldn't more pleased.
I would give this place 1 star; half for management and half for maintenance. Erick and Rodney has been doing their best to help me with my situation with my apartment. On the day of inspecting the apartment in June 2018 there was a coach roach in the sink. A few days after that a mysterious pool of water appeared out of nowhere. Since day one, I have been fighting with coach roaches and this random water that leaks out from somewhere. Big and small, I would encounter roachers at least every other day. Pest control hired by the apartment never worked. After spraying my apartment, i would see a live roach a few days afterwards. With the help of Rodeny, we were able to pinpoint where the water was leaking from (kitchen sink) and able to get someone to come fix it. This may also be part of the issue of why I was seeing so many roaches. Still, I feel that I am paying too much for this apartment to be having this many problems in a short amount of time. When looking for an apartment, I read the comments for Key Towers and they had similar problems but I only took it for face value. I wish I would have taken those comments seriously. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone.
Great experience with the leasing consultant. My studio apartment is beautiful and the price is right. I'm very happy about my choice.
I spoke to the new maintenance manager, and I do not fault him for the problems this building has that he inherited. There is still about 1/2 gallon of water on the floor in the laundry room. the dryer is reading an error message. I know you use a contractor, but the laundry has been on the fritz for over a month. Its ridiculous. I know I could use another floor, but again, inconveniencing other residents, not to mention putting additional money in your pockets. The employees are not the problem, the crappy infrastructure is the problem, but its a little challenging to remain hopeful at this point.
