Foxchase is a nice place to live - it is an older building community full of people of all ages. The staff are very nice and responsive to any inquiries or problems that occur. It's also within walking distance of the bus, grocery, banks, etc. It's a perfect area for someone that wants to live close to DC, but preferc more of a suburbs feel - the garden style apartments and lots of trees lends itself to make you feel like you aren't as close to everything as you actually are.
I've been at Foxchase for four years. The location is perfect - close to the metro with a free shuttle, quiet grounds away from heavy highway traffic, with a 24/7 Harris Teeter, restaurants and other services within a short walk. Beautiful walking trails are just minutes from the property and with multiple pools, tennis court and fitness centers onsite, one has everything they need here! Be sure to take advantage of the discount movie tickets as well!!
FoxChase is horrible and I would not recommend it to anyone. Management is unresponsive, maintenance drops the ball often, and there are mice everywhere.
Fox chase has been a great experience since day one. The staff has been friendly and professional anytime I may have had a issue. I highly recommend.
A clean and affordable community near several parks and close to shopping while still set off from a major road. While the buildings are older, they are very well maintained with excellent and responsive service staff and new appliances. One advantage of being an older set of properties is the large and leafy trees that grace the neighborhood, making it a peaceful home in a busy metro area. Several pools and exercise facilities are conveniently located around the community. It is close to 395 and 495, which is helpful for commuting. My best renting experience after 5 years living in the DMV, hitting the sweet spot of affordability, location, and amenities. Also, the neighborhood is near two excellent Ethiopian restaurants, which is a real treat.
