I just moved into my nice studio apartment less than 4 weeks ago. The management team needs to improve its customer service big time. First of all I was promised a credit on my February rent but when I logged into their resident portal it was not there. I had to email my sales representative several times. He never responded to emails so I had to start calling, which is not an easy task as they do not have a direct number that connects to a live person. Each response I got was some excuse. I had to finally contact the management company. After a stressful experience, I finally got the credit that I was promised. The apartment was not cleaned properly before I moved in. There were corners where dust had accumulated and the bathroom door had what appeared to be human or dog hair that was painted over. It should not be the responsibility for the tenant to have to report stuff like this to a property manager. Not a good way to start off a lease. The apology I finally received from the management official seemed very insincere and she completely ignored my request to compensate me for being put in a stressful situation and for having to take time to meet a maintence person at my apartment for something that should have been addressed before I moved in. One of the reason I chose to move to this property is that each building has a secure entrance that you must use a key fob to gain access. Well the entire community has been unsecured for almost a week as they switched systems and require each tenant to stop by and have their key fob reprogrammed. I'm not in the security business but this seems like very poor planning on management and I am certain there are better options. I was advised today that the buildings will not be secured until all the tenants, in this community that has over 1000 units, stops by to have their keys reprogrammed. Parking is a nightmare if you do not get home before 5pm. I would gladly pay to have my own parking space.
The worst appartement for bugs, no enough space, smokes in the floors, and raising $50 the rent from CIM new management ......
