Wilshire Place

I lived here for almost 2 years. I won't lie, I loved the apartments and I loved the front staff. Alex is a homie and she has such a great vibe. I give it a one star review for a few reasons. 1- Living in apartments, I expected to hear neighbors. Not to the extent that is here. I could hear normal conversation from my upstairs neighbors, along with every time they fought. (didn't really like waking up at 4 am to hearing them scream at each other but oh well) 2- For the amenities, the price of rent is a bit expensive. Its manageable, but with how far away you are from everything, I wouldn't say the price you pay each month is worth it. My personal opinion 3- Last but not least, the move out process is a nightmare. The only price I am going to bring up is the 3000 dollars to break a lease. I know its in the agreement but holy cow that seems steep. I gave my 60 day notice on April 4th. Since I did it 4 days late, I had to pay the whole month of Junes rent, even though I turned my keys in on May 28th. Along with that, no one was communicating with me. I would call, and get no response. I left a couple voice mails, no call back. Finally I got on the line with someone and they informed me that I could have paid my 3k lease break fee the minute I turned my keys in. That would have saved me so much headache! We had a hefty fee to pay for damages to the apartment, cool ill pay it, but I still have not received the disposition outlining what I am paying for. I just made my last payment today and I still haven't received it. Now I cant be too mad because they just got new management, but I feel like sending out the disposition is pretty important legally as I would personally love to know what my money is being used towards fixing. Either way, I loved the vibe of the area, but for the price of the apartments, the hassle of going grocery shopping, or the nightmare that was the move out process, I would not recommend living here.

Family turns a house to a home, and extra effort turns residence into community. They just did that. Our granddaughter lost her new ring into the sink, and they came and retrieved it. Thats beyond the call of duty. Greatly appreciate that. Eric

I love living here ! Ive been here for over 2 years and never had any issues. The team at the office are amazing especially Cassidee and Alex, theyre always very friendly and welcoming ! The maintenance team is also great and so friendly as well ! Ive truly been able to call Wilshire my home due to all of them !

they have hidden charges while you are there and when you move they hit you with a whole bunch of hidden claims . I would not wish an enemy to live there , good luck

Nightmare living here. The girls in the office are a real nightmare! Matinence guys love to put bandaids on every problem! Rent is out of control high! The section 8 housing has brought a lot of trouble making kids and drugs in! The year I lived here was the worst year of my life!!!
