Do not recommend. Building is falling apart despite being so new.
If i could give a 10 star rating to West station I would. The staff here is unbelievably accommodating with everything. My views are amazing. I love looking at the beautiful skies every morning when I wake up. I have great neighbors, the complex is so quiet which was extremely important to me having a small child. If Ive had any concern, staff was on it ASAP. Which FYI my concerns have been minimal with my apartment. The manager here is incredibly sweet, always happy and makes sure she can help with whatever you need. The entire staff really is so great! Did I mention its quiet? I mean really this place is perfect for single, couple, or family. Gated parking, pool, workout room, the entire building feels so good just walking into it. We will be here for a long time! I absolutely would recommend West Station! Dont miss out on this place! Best place Ive lived!
Writing this review because management has not responded to any attempts to reach them via email about a well known issue, but we know they read reviews regularly and might respond quickly to a situation they are well aware of.
All floors (except bedroom) are hardwood and create a constant noise challenge for those living on floors 1 - 3.
Your only hope is that the people above you are considerate enough to take off their shoes AND buy a rug for high traffic areas/to put underneath their furniture otherwise you will constantly hear the people above you moving around and be put in a situation management doesnt know how to properly resolve.
It is a true problem because after calling security enough times during quiet hours to resolve the issue, they just threatened to stop protecting the property anymore. They also wont do anything in between the time management leaves and quiet hours start. When asking management to resolve the issue during the day, they say We cant MAKE them be quiet or charge a fee for their disruptive noises.
If there is a solution, it should be reasonable to see management explain how they resolved the tenants concerns once it has been addressed in their responses to the online review, and not just leave readers hanging with something like We are sorry your experience has not been entirely positive... Please contact us directly so we may proceed with the above concerns. or We are glad everything has been taken care of since then.
...Especially if they arent really finding out about the concern through an online review in the first place.
It is not fair that they get to go home and sleep peacefully while those of us here have to sit idly by, knowing that if we addressed the issue directly with our neighbors, we would be evicted (as they have done with someone who did that).
Do not move here. There are other buildings for the same price or cheaper that are much nicer, with a much nicer leasing office team. The walls are thin, trash is constantly left in the hallways, and residents are treated like children. There are a lot of homeless in the area, as well. The leasing office nickel and dimes you for everything, even adding recurring charges after your lease is signed. The building is only two years old, but is wearing quickly as they seem to like doing the bare minimum to take care of it. If you decide to move in, avoid the first floor, as there have been multiple instances of pipes bursting and units flooding.
