Too small apartment.
I wouldn't recommend living here. The office staff and the district manager don't know how to conduct business and offer false advertising.
Decent place. Okay amenities. When people from the surrounding neighborhoods who don't live here aren't breaking into the clubhouse or pool area, stealing your laundry and damaging things. The main problem here is the office staff. They don't respond to emails once you sign your lease. It's been my experience, my girlfriends experience and the experience of a handful of other people we've met here. You have to go in person to get anything done which can be challenging if your schedule doesn't permit it. So if you're corresponding with them via email right now and are a prospective renter? Enjoy it while it lasts.
I even emailed the general manager about some issues, only to be ignored. Not even so much as a "thank you for your email" automated reply. Just flat out ignored. Oh and they're often rude. They act like your bothering them when you come in.
The maintenance staff is GREAT. One of the solid things about this place. Too bad the office staff are a bunch of rude snobs. You know, you'd think they'd treat tenants well because their salary comes from our rent. But they clearly have nothing to fear from the general manager so they feel free to take liberties with the tenants. Of course, it's never anything SO beyond the pale it'd be sensational to report. But it's a general attitude of unfriendliness, unhelpfulness and rude facial expressions and tones of voice. It's not hard to read people if you're above the age of 14. These people scream through their body language and their absolute refusal to do anything for you unless you insist, that you're a nuisance.
They shortened the clubhouse hours, which would be annoying but not worthy of a negative review.
The negative review is the total lack of a response when we sent two emails just politely and professionally requesting an explanation on why that was going to be happening soon. Nothing. Not even something generic like "Due to security concerns etc."
Just absolute silence. They clearly don't care.
I recently went on a walk thru at sky harbor apartments. the staff member Alisha was very helpful and polite. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the apartment complex, it was well kept and clean. I look forward to renting at sky harbor apartments.
