I lived at Mesa Point for more than 2 1/2 years. Although close to all amenities, shopping, etc., you must be very careful about what you record on their "checklist" sheet regarding anything broken or damaged/marked. The blinds in the master bedroom were bent - cheap product and easily damaged-when I moved in. I mentioned this to the office manager when we did a walk through at the beginning of my lease. She said they would be replaced- I never commented on the checklist that they were damaged. Everytime someone came up from the office or maintenance, I mentioned the blinds issue- they were never replaced. When I left the apartment, one of office staff came up to do another walk through and saw the bent blinds. I told her they were that way since I moved in and never replaced and thought nothing more of it. When I received my security deposit check( minus cleaning rug - it was brand new when I moved in, no pets, no roommate) other miscellaneous charges which are questionable, they charged me $85 for the damaged blinds. As the blinds were damaged when I moved in, I can only assume the prior tenant was also charged but the blinds never replaced. I can only imagine how many times people were charged for the same broken blinds without them ever being replaced. This property, Bach Corp, will let you think they are a wonderful community but will allow dogs( lease disallows dogs) and businesses to operate (lease clearly states no private businesses to be operated from apartment property). If they can charge you for anything extra, they will. Just be careful.

It is the best renting experience I have ever had the pleasure to experience. The management are the best l. They are always forthcoming with any and all information. The maintenance team is superb.
