Just bought a new home and moved out but wanted to give a shout out to the staff for always working with us.
We loved the huge apartment and the two balconies we had were amazing! We would recommend to our family and friends.

We have lived here for 2 years.

They are really bad at responding to things and communicating.

Even in the lease they ask you to give a 60 day notice for not renewing which is fine but when I asked for our new price so I could decide if we were leaving they couldn't give me our new terms.

I called every week for I want to say 5-6 weeks starting in April and I had to go into the office multiple times before I was given our new terms either near the end of May or the beginning of June. Our lease is up in August giving us about a week to make a decision and find a place to move if we want too leave. This is not enough time or fair the the tenant which wouldn't have been the case had they told me the rate or at least communicated that they couldn't get it to me. Instead each time I asked for it they said they would get it to me the next day. 5 weeks later nothing.

Even though we were very much trying to communicate wanting to go month to month and know the cost they were not helpful in the situation.

When I kindly tried to give this feedback about the process I was responded to by "I've been doing this for 10 years and nobody else has had trouble."

Combine this with the problems that occurred for us moving in (Them lying to us about replacing the carpet and not actually having the place ready when they said) I am happy we are likely leaving.

Pros: they hold packages in the office; lots of diversity here; maintenance sweeps grounds for trash every morning. Cons: repairs are never done the 1st time you ask and usually not the 2nd or 3rd times, either (one repair took 2 months for them to complete, and that's because I followed up relentlessly); when repair work is finally done, if ever, it's sloppy; the management is maddeningly sweet to your face but when you actually try to get good service, they're defensive and unsupportive.

While I'm glad to have finally found a place to live for me and my family, I wish I could have afforded to rent a house or at least the upgraded apartments here at Hunters Woods. Because of money concerns I chose to get a non-upgraded home and I am really let down by the quality of this place. There's holes in the floor in several different areas, the walls were not painted, there were still nails and thumb-tacks in the walls and door-frames from the previous tenants.
