I posted a very positive review when I first moved in, but after living at Rose Cove for 2 months I have most certainly changed my mind! Don't rent here: the management team consists of an elderly married couple that could care less about the residents or the employees...the maintenance man resigned because he became disgusted with disregard the management team is showing towards everyone here. The land Rose Cove is built on is a wetland ("marsh" or "swamp"). There are pools of standing everywhere, and one can smell the odors of mold. The hallways stink of trash, because some residents leave their bagged trash outside their door. There are roaches in one of the buildings (adjoining with the common area club house. There are ants in the hallways because the trash is stored in the hallways. The apartments have cheap fixtures, and old appliances. Good luck getting anything repaired that breaks, because everyone who has worked maintenance (since I have moved in) has quit. Also, management states that the rent at Rose Cove is based on "fair market value". It's not. Rose Cove is over-priced, very unprofessionally managed, and surrounded by a wetland.
DO NOT RENT HERE!!! This is by far the worst apartment complex I've ever seen and lived. Ive lived here for a month so far.. They only communicate by letters.. they wont even call you even if you ask them too. It's dirty! When I moved in there was food on the walls and floor like it wasn't cleaned before hand. The walls are so thin you can hear every word someone is saying in the apartment next to you. First week I lived here I got a complaint.. from someone downstairs for walking in my apartment after quiet hours. If I get two more complaints I get evicted. I'm afraid to sneeze at night because I'll get a complaint. I can hear her swearing and slamming doors at night because I'm going to the bathroom or turning over in my bed.. This place is the worst DO NOT RENT HERE!!!
I recently moved to Rose Cove, and I very much enjoy living here. My spacious apartment is comfortable and affordable. The units are well-maintained, as is the property. I feel safe because the walkways are well-lit, and the buildings have security doors. Although Rose Cove is listed as senior living, the residents are of all ages; the community is active, and the residents are friendly. Rose Cove is managed by EMT, which is a premier property management company. The management team and the maintenance staff work together to provide a community environment that feels like home. There is a preserve trail surrounding the neighborhood for jogging, walking, and biking. And there are shopping malls, grocery stores, convenience stores, gas pumps, restaurants, schools, and public transportation nearby.
Because the residents are mean and spread roomers and lies about you. There were a number of people who were rude to me. People on the second floor are always pounding in the middle of the night. People break in ur apt and steel things. There's mostly elderly people and a number of them passed away in there apt when I lived there Please think hard before you make a decision.
