My sister and I began an application process with them one weekend in June 2017. I toured, and filled out the basic paper, but we needed to turn in more for the application.
Over the next several days, I slowly turned in the application materials. I left my debit card number, at one point, because I wanted to get the application fees out of the way. (MISTAKE).
When they didn't charge my card, I called the next day, and asked when I would be charged. I was told they wouldn't charge it yet, because they needed all of our application materials before they could process our app. They said they particularly needed my sister's income information to run anything at all, because, as one agent bluntly put it, "You don't make enough to afford it."
In my overall dealings, I was continuously turned off by their lack of professionalism. (For example, the weekend agent originally sold me an already occupied unit, and also said she didn't know how to process payment and I would have to wait until Monday to pay over the phone--hence, why they had my card. Not dealbreakers, but they should have been a warning sign).
After a number of small things like this, I eventually looked elsewhere. I applied at another complex, and received approval. I called Trailpoint to let them know I would be canceling my application, and they could take the apartment off "courtesy hold" as they called it. Minutes later, I checked my bank balance, and found they had charged my card a $330 app fee for our half-baked application.
When I called to ask them about it, that's where it got out of control. I was put on "eternal hold," then when I called back, I got told "I wasn't the one who did it;" then HUNG UP ON--more than once---and then when I called back after that, I was continuously transferred to the answering service. After that, they BLOCKED MY NUMBER. NEVER was I ever given a chance to fully talk to anyone about the issue. I still don't even know fully what the charge was for as the app fe
Average apartment complex, nothing special. Good location being closed to the woodlands mall etc...but there was some serious safety issues within the complex. The management team was very poor about communication and completely messed up our lease and terms, meaning I owed them money when we moved out because no one audited our file. For the amount of money I recommend looking else where. This was just a temp. solution until our home was done being built.
When I first moved into my unit the water smelled like rotten eggs. Paint is old and chipping everywhere, including the bathtub. Kitchen disposal was broken, leaking water, and the lock on the sliding glass door was BROKEN, not to mention my AC unit outside sits directly on the dirt, with no cement plate underneath, causing serious amounts of dirt/dust/grim amongst other disgusting things from the outside to enter, it's all over the walls of my unit and you can see it all over the vents!!!!
