This is such an amazing complex. My sister and I were having issues with our A/C and Ramon (one of the maintenance guys) came in the middle of the night to help us out. Amanda and Sandy are very caring and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. They treat their residents like family. The property is peaceful with beautiful flowers everywhere, which makes it very easy to relax. My sister and I both love living here and never want to leave.
I would definitely not recommend anyone move to Parks on the Green, your rent will increase every year that you are here first by 20 dollars then by 50 dollars, this place doesn't have a washer/dryer hook-up, and maintenance will come in and out of your apartment whenever they feel like it. Do not move here!!
Management is often downright rude & condescending, not to mention clueless & unhelpful. I've had my utility bill lost by them, been told I had no balance standing, only to recieve a notice that we owed a balance. Then the lady upfront had the audacity to say "it really doesn't matter what you were told, I'm right & you are wrong". Repairs don't seem to happen, yet I see the repairmen driving around daily. I've had issues with theft from my porch only to basically have the management laugh about it. If you like water pressure or a happy medium between hellfire & artic tundra in the shower you are out of luck. The flooring dents so easy it's ridiculous, countertops chip, the bottom shelf of our fridge has been broken for the 2 years we've lived here. Oh, & if you expect the office to be open on time because, you know, you have work to get to or other errands to attend to, GOOD LUCK. It is hit or miss if anyone is going to show up on time. I could go on, but I think the picture is painted. If you are in a crunch, by all means, but their rates aren't even that great anymore. Otherwise I would AVOID THIS PLACE!
The management and maintenance are horrible and the management lied to me. I have a wheelchair that I have to use frequently. My sister took the wheelchair up to management to ensure it would fit through all doors because we couldn't view the apartment. The reassured my sister that it would fit guess what, I can't get it in my bedroom, bathroom or kitchen and I can't get it over the threshold of the front door. They are trying to get the bathroom so my walker will fit. But they won't work on any other issues. Our dishwasher is broke since we moved in almost a month and reported three times now. They ignored the report about the stove burner not working and they have yet to bring back a fire extinguisher since the one here was empty. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
TERRIBLE APARTMENT COMPLEX TO LIVE IN. I have lived in several places here in temple and by far the worse. Maintenance is trash! fixes and still manages to not work whatever they work on. Amanda has just been rude. The lady in the front completely just cuts you off while you speak. The men in front of me just drink on weekends and throw their beer on the lawn along with the maintenance men.
