I lived here about 12 years ago when the rent was reasonable (I lived in a 2 bedroom for 750 per month) and the previous company was more into the upkeep. I was thinking of moving here again when I return to Texas, not sure now. Thanks for the honest reviews.
Previous Management were much more concerned about the up keep of the property. New management continues to raise pricing based off their own analysis and not a market based analysis. 3brms is now $1430 and the amenities are old, broken and out dated. I will be renting a 3brm home in the same area for cheaper the rate. Leasing staff in the office appears lazy and does not answer swiftly to residents complaints. I have went in the office several times while staff were on there personal phone, and not answering the calls of residents or perspective residents. Staff does not enforce the pet policy ensuring that residents use the dog park, but instead dogs poop everywhere including the kids broken down play area. Staff also does not enforce cleanliness of the property. I have watched paper, food and other trash fly around until maintainence decides to pick it up. I pay my rent on time monthly and I will not be renewing my lease this year. Oak falls has fallen.
I loved these apartments when I first moved in and then they were sold. Since then, there were three apartments broken into and several cars. There is constantly trash throughout the apartment complex and overfilled dumpsters. The office staff and maintenance staff are rude and visibly do not care about the tenants. The leasing agent moved in above me and made my life miserable. Him and his wife constantly argued so loudly that my children had to listen to them cuss each other. His children and dog constantly ran up and down the hall and jumped off furniture at all hours of the night. Someone in their apartment also constantly threw trash and cigarettes onto my porch. I complained to the office and nothing was done. They did not say anything. I work a lot of hours and had no choice but to get another apartment. I finally could not take it anymore after trying to go to sleep for two hours and knocked on their door. I was informed that they were moving to another apartment, but at this point I had not been told and had already rented at another apartment complex. I am a single mother with two children and cannot afford to lose money like that. I wanted to at least give them a 60 day notice and had to pay double rent for the month of May. The leasing agent told me that he would take care of the early termination fees for me because it was his fault I was moving. He was a liar and they charged me over $2,000 for early termination of my lease.
I also had to call because there was water running down my hallway wall. They acted like it was an annoyance and did not come to check for over an hour. The maintenance man was very rude when I asked him to come into my apartment to look at the issue. He never came in and they have never come to address the water stains on my ceilings and walls.
These apartments are not worth it. There are a lot of other nice apartments in Spring, TX that would definitely be a better option for anyone who is looking for a place
We have lived here 4 years and have been mostly satisfied. The management are very friendly and informative. It is in a good location, shopping of all types convenient, friendly neighbors, good response from maintenance.
