I have lived here for almost four years now and I have never had any issues with management or maintenance! First, I have lived in several different floorplans because I keep wanting more space for myself, however, each apartment I have lived in has always been well-kept and in good working condition. The grounds are also well-kept and ideal for any tenant with a dog because of the variety of grassy areas and sidewalks to walk on.
Maintenance has ALWAYS been there when I needed them and I have never been left wondering when my issue will be resolved. They always contact me if there are any further issues and leave a note in the door detailing what was done and if follow-up will be needed. I have had a leaky ceiling from a frozen A/C and they fixed it immediately while I was at work and I barely noticed it had even happened. I have had my A/C decide to quit working during the hottest of days and it was only out for the time it took for them to figure out the problem. They are truly the best.
Management is always offering fun events, giveaways and free food! Every week there is a gift card give away and free food on Fridays from always the yummiest of places. They also sometimes have resident events at Texas State games and even fun pet social gatherings they host. Lyndsey has ALWAYS helped me when I needed it and cared when there have been issues with tenants, etc. I lost my key in the doggie poop receptical and they made me a new one right away. There is nothing they wouldn't do, or at least try to do, for their residents.
The location has been probably the best part of living here because it is a little away from the center of town. While this may sound undesirable, once you move here and see the amount of traffic flow happening in the middle of town and near campus you will be so happy you are on the other side of IH 35! There is still a Texas State bus and a City bus that stops right outside so you can still get to class quickly and conveniently
Asked for a Spet. 1 move in date. Was told I had an Aug. 15 move in dat. Asked about prorated rent, for the 16 days in Aug. was told rent was not prorated, we would pay $1120.00, for 15 days of Aug and then pay another $1120.00 for Sept 1. We were not happy with that arrangement and decided not to rent from Riverside. Ranch Apts.
I seem Austin's residence market is inflated average income is between 17,000 and 40,000 leaving young single adults kinda stuck in either homelessness of long work travel to maintain job in the city. Prices are above 30% of my income.
