Dehumanizing. I really wish someone had told me about the serious problems with this apartment.
1) Pest issues: Spiders, fire ants, and cockroaches. Very ineffective pest control services.
2) The ultimate betrayal from the management:
As they say "luxury" living, we were ensured that we would get our moneys worth. But this apartment has very thin walls. The upstairs neighbor stomped around all day and night, causing our lights and ceiling to shake, our walls to vibrate, and even our toothbrushes in the bathroom to rattle. We bought a white noise machine and put it to the loudest setting, but the stomping and vibrations would wake up everyone in our household. We went to upstairs to resolve the issue, but it was unsuccessful. We tried, but they stopped answering the door. For 5 months, I have developed anxiety attacks and became depressed from their stomping.
We finally reached out to management. But it didn't stop. My neighbor became worse with the noise in retaliation for having gone to management to report this problem. I conveyed my concern to Tonya that this would only escalate. Tonya disregarded my concern.
Even the courtesy officer told us that the police have known about this problem for at least 3 months prior to our move in. If there were already complaints on file from the previous tenant, I would have hoped that management would have dealt with the issue beforehand. My neighbor did not answer the door for a uniformed Fort Bend County Sheriff Officer and somehow this was an acceptable behavior within the lease.
Jamie and Tonya's only response was that the neighbor would be moving out, and our only solution would be to endure more stomping and sleepless nights while collecting our rent.
Towards January, it escalated. The upstairs started to include running along with stomping. My family and I feel very unsafe since the management managed to keep these residents in the same complex even after their threats.
My totally experience from my initial visit to move in date was excellent. Could not be more satisfied!
The management team is nice. I love the pool area. Not happy with the quality of the apartments at all.
