La Mirada

I am a current resident at the apartments in 409. The apartment has horrible foundation issues that cause the back door to swing open all the time when fully closed along with cracks in the ceiling along the front door and bottom walls if the bedroom that lead into outside. We have been having issues with with no hot water for almost two months and it just got fixed recently. And most recently we have been charged a violation for outdoor furniture for two metallic sitting stools that have been there since early last year. When I called to speak with the office I brought up the fact that metallic stools are sold in the garden section of most outdoor lawn and garden departments in stores as furniture, yet the manager refused to comment back or acknowlage it. Instead she said in her words "she dosnt go to those stores". I feel treated unfairly most the time when issues with maintenance or violations occur. I feel like they are money hungry and don't have any empathy or care for the residents living here. For the 985 we must pay on rent it would be better off to live somewhere els.

Once you sign in the management won't take you seriously anymore. We live in building 1400; Our building is cracking I have reported to the leasing officers several times, they send a maintenance guy after a long time. He just cover the crack with some kind of paper tape and paint it, it didnt even last two month when the paper tape cracked again. And our bath tab is painted, it peels off after three month we moved in, and ever since every time we complain theyll come and just paint it again it should have been changed. Not as green as you see it on their website, every time it rain it washes of the dust and gets muddy (supposed to be covered with grass). much too expensive. I now live in Ca. and am leaving to find affordable senior living I am in my 70th year and very active and independent. Everything is going up in price except my social security. I do not need much . a place to sleep, cook, shower, washer& dryer hookup, that's all 400/600mo.

Looks like a nice n clean area with everything you need such as gym. Pool. Green area. and play ground ,, Also I like an area near by shopping center and college.. to be convenient for my family .. thanks ,,,
