This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived at. I've been here 3 years, and each year the rent goes up an average of $100/month. So a $300/month since we first moved here. The hot water went out, we didn't have hot water for days. And this happened multiple times. To top it off, I have a perfectly good vehicle sitting outside my apartment, however I rarely drive it, they decided to tow it without any notification. Instead of trying to solve the issue, they decided to dig in their heels and said there's nothing they could do. Terrible management, facilities are not maintained, maintenance is slow to non-existent. Nothing but bad things to say about this place. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED!!!
Everybody is really good from the manager to the maintenance people (who are always very responsive in taking care of things that come up) The friendliness of the employees makes Avalon at Chase Oaks an enjoyable place to live. I MOVED OUT ONCE AND CAME BACK BECAUSE IT'S A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE.
There should be more communications from the leasing office to tenants. Tenants shouldn't feel offended, or defeated when trying to communicate their concerns to the leasing office. Leasing office should be really follow through when notices are put out. Ex: ppl coming out to check foundation...they never showed. Tenants should have easy access to filters. Maintenance request shouldn't take no more than 3 days to complete.
I'm living here from 2015 and initially satisfied with cleanness and the ability to handle service requests in faster. Later everything got away, hot water issues, not maintaining premises clean and even service requests as well have to call many times.
It has changed A LOT since the apartment complex changed owners. When it was a Berkshire property, it was EXCELLENT! It had a family feel. We knew all of the associates in the office as well as the maintenance staff. It was like they enjoyed what they did. Now it feels more like just earning my paycheck , plus I had MANY issues in the beginning when they switched over. Without proper communication, my rent was raised without my knowledge. Rent is TOO dang much!
