What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About Pasadena

Its quite, no kids in the block, i too old for kids. i like the park thats near by. I like the neighborhood snowcone stand,

it is next to a chucrh and places to eat. There is a walking trail. there are many places toi eat and the neighbors all know each other. It is quiet there and police come by often

There are a lot of nearby restaurants and grocery stores. And I do like my neighbors, but that's about it.

I like to live near the bar for easy shoppingI like to live close to the bar for easy shopping and a good place to travel every day for easy shoppin

I like being close to businesses that are by my house. I enjoy going to the grocery store and local restaurants.

Love my house. It is very beautiful to me. Houses are all kept up so neighborhood doesn't look bad. Love that it is quiet and people are respectful to others in the neighborhood.

All About

Living in Pasadena, TX

Nowadays, it's almost expected that young people and new families will move near a big city as they start to launch their careers and start a life. The city offers everything a bright-eyed arrival could ask for: jobs, great food, entertainment, culture, arts, music and nightlife. But as this cohort settles into apartments near Houston, many, like those in Pasadena apartments, are realizing that all of these luxuries are squeezed into the smaller neighborhoods outside of Houston as well.

Although most Pasadena apartments are a 20 minute drive down Interstate 45 from Houston, the suburb has that city-like feel, with its museums, theaters, events and unique cowboy atmosphere. The John Travolta movie Urban Cowboy takes place in Pasadena, largely characterizing the town based on the honky-tonk vibes coming from the real-life bar Gilley's, which was co-owned by the country music singer Mickey Gilley. In real life, the town and those with Pasadena apartments live up to this dramatic interpretation. In fact, Pasadena has been nicknamed "Pasa-get-down-dena," after the a local radio station DJ used the term to describe the free-wheeling attitude that those with apartments in Pasadena maintain.

Even those with Pasadena apartments who aren't befitting of the cowboy lifestyle find ample pleasure the town's way of life. One popular event that draws more than 50,000 people a year, is the Pasadena Strawberry Festival, which celebrates the town as the "Strawberry Capital of the World."
