This apartment complex is fantastic. It's very clean and well maintained. I love how secure the property is. Maintenance is fast & efficient. The resident events that they have really make the difference! It's always a fun experience. Lastly, the office staff is AMAZING. These ladies go above and beyond to make us feel at home and to make our stay comfortable. Couldn't ask for a better place to live!
I am the same person who complained about the loud neighbors. Management offered to move me to a different apartment once one available in my building. They did offer to move me to another building without an elevator and on the same floor I am already on. Doesn't make much sense. They told me one would be available in my building in July. Then they sent me a text message telling me that I would have to pay an Admin fee of $300 and a transfer fee of $150. This is management solution. Nice.
So, I decided to move after my lease is up. I am not missing much; the washing machine continues to leak every time I use it (maintenance has already looked at it and they can't figure what is wrong), I still takes 2 cycles to dry my clothes (maintenance has come 2x for this problem), the heat only works on one side of the apartment, I still haven't used the dish washer.
The Maintenance guys are nice and they do try to fix things but in my case they should spring for new appliances. The carpet is old, no matter how many times I vacuum it still looks worn out. The amount of money I spend a month I expect better.
Not sure what is going on at The Edge. Used to enjoy living here because of its convenience, however, new management, office staff, and general chaos is making me regret my decision to renew here. Office staff fails repeatedly to answer simple questions and seems clueless as to how their jobs should be done. Definitely not the same as when I initially toured the property.
I used to like living here UNTIL my upstair neighbors moved in. OMG, they are so loud. I can guarantee they will make noise like moving furniture every week night from 11:30pm - 1:00 am. They stomp every time they walk and it makes the ceiling fan shake. I wake up thinking the ceiling will fall in! I have complained to the office 3 times and nothing has been done. I am not happy at all. I pay over $1000 a month and its ridiculous at the noise they make. Oh, and the hot tub's jets don't work, the clean the pool first THEN do yard work. (One of the dirtiest pools ever). Overall, if I didn't have the upstairs neighbors I would probably be happier but lack of sleep and being comfortable in my own place makes it VERY difficult!
I love my current resident. I just sent to have my own place. I live with my sister.
