      Nice units and good location. Staff was accommodating until I had an issue. I moved into a full lake front view unit. About a month after moving in, construction started on a cement parking garage and what I think are apartment homes (theyre still building). The structures have blocked a chunk of the lake and my entire landscape has changed. I requested a rent adjustment since Im paying for a full lake front view. They said no. I was told I still had a good view and they have no control over what is built in the area. True, but its not the view I was shown and they do have control over the information they share with potential residents. As a potential tenant signing a lease for almost $2600 a month, I should have been told about the loss of part of the lake view before I signed it. I was told about everything else in the immediate and surrounding areas, but nothing was mentioned about something being built a few hundred feet away. A full lake front was important to me and I would have chosen another unit or community. Shortly after I moved in, I received several emails asking me to give a 5 star review. I almost did, but things are usually great when you first move in so I waited. I wanted to live here for a while so I could give an honest review based on my experience, not on what they wanted me to give. I did notice there is at least one 5 star review that was written by someone who works here. If youre thinking of leasing here be sure to ask lots of questions and if theres anything really important to you make sure you get it in writing. And check out the parking garage for yourself. Its not a direct walk from the garage to the building as I was told. There is a flight of stairs to navigate no matter what floor youre on and if you live on the 5th floor its a flight of stairs and an elevator ride (or 2 flights of stairs). It may not be a big deal to you, but its always good to know exactly what youre signing up for.

      The entire staff is amazing, the finished product is the best Ive ever seen. I adore my apartment, it feels like Im finally home. Sonya is always throwing the best resident events! Cant wait for the rest of the retail to open up!

      These people are really nice getting you moved in to make sales. Then their true colours show. They changed their rent payment system and werent lenient when waiving the late fee for the first time using the new system. They send out emails constantly- even with the change in the rent system they asked residents to sign up, then it didnt even work, so another email was sent out, then ANOTHER email was sent out. Three emails about one thing, yet they cant remind residents about the changes in the new system. This is in addition to the numerous other emails sent about parking. No one can keep up with the amount of emails sent out by water street if you actually have a life outside your email inbox.

      Service is HORRIBLE No hot Water for days, and the only answer I can get is weve done all we can. And they dont consider living without hot water an emergency that merits after-hours service. And the walls between units are paper thin. You can hear conversations in the next unit. Place looks great on the outside ... Zero quality on the inside

      The building is brand new, which is nice. However, there is still a lot of noise from the construction every morning, many things are not up and running yet (mail service, service elevator, car park, etc.). The parking in the temporary parking lot has become more and more difficult as more residents move in. Depending on which apartment you choose, the light from the parking lot is glaringly bright and noisy at night. Most of the staff here are genuinely very helpful.
