We just moved in July 13th/14th. My brother and I had already toured The Star about 2 years ago before construction was finished. We didnt pull the trigger back then, but upon coming back and touring a finished building...Joseph won us over. He was VERY honest about every aspect of the building and process. We moved from Vantage Med Center paying about $3200/month for a 2/2 but that building lacked some amenities like a 24 hour concierge. The Star is a gem that has been restored and polished to a shine. THE STAFF is what makes the difference in any high rise or luxury place and we are no strangers to luxury buildings. From living in River Oaks for years, to living in high rises all over, we notice the STAFF is one of the most important aspects of any property. If the staff sucks, the building WILL suffer. The move in was made easy and accommodations were made when we had a few hiccups with the movers. So far I'm an ecstatic to live here. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. We have already walked the one block to main street to Shake Shack, a few blocks to Lone Star Taco Co., and this afternoon a few blocks to Market Square to have lunch at Truebeards! The valet and concierge personnel have been extremely helpful and courteous. I will, as always, keep my review updated as my 15 month lease progresses. If management is reading this...you have a real STAR in Joseph. He is the reason we chose you over Aris, Catalyst, and Market Square Tower.
I absolutely love The Star!! The employees and service are what make it great! Well-my apartment is super fly, too!
My living experience at The Star has been exceptional. The staff is very professional, friendly and welcoming. Ive even had friends whom have visited speak very highly of the property and their experiences with the staff.
I love living at The Star as it incorporates everything I want when living downtown. The building and apartments are super trendy yet maintain that historical vibe. The staff are also very friendly and always available to help.
Living at The Star has been wonderful. From the office staff to the concierge and valet, everyone is wonderful. The building is clean and very well constructed. Noise from neighbors is non-existent. All of the apartment finishing are top-notch, and it is a convenient location to so many great things, The Discovery Green, Minute Maid, Sundance Theater, an array of restaurants, and Rockets stadium as well as the theater district! I feel safe and secure when walking around our building. I can't say enough about the service the staff provides. They make you feel so special and valued. We love that we made the decision to move to The Star!
