I lived at Tanglebrook for close to 4 years and from the time I moved in to when I moved out it continued to decline
The neighborhood is great. Close to everything and extremely safe. Most of the time it was quiet but you can here neighbors showers, traffic, people talking through the walls.
Maintenance was decent enough when I could find them outside and ask them to check something. Generally putting a ticket in would be handled fairly slowly. Also they were restricted on what they were allowed to replace. even if something was completely shot management would request a short term band aid fix.
Water turns everything orange. I don't know if it's the pipes or where it comes from but toilet, shower, sink, literally anything turns orange from the water.
Management has been a revolving door. In the time I was there they went through 4 managers. Aside from the first manager they were not helpful. They will nickle and dime you at every opportunity without much explanation.
Building's are very old and leaked a lot during the major storms over the past few years. My ceiling dripped water for months before the roof was fixed. Then the ceiling was never addressed. I also had mold growing from the air vents. The hired contractor acknowledged it but said it would cost to much to fix right and he didn't want to lose the contract.
Rent will go up yearly regardless of the market in the area. After 4 years I was paying $200 a month over what a new move in would pay. They are counting on you not packing up and moving out. Also consider your security deposit a fee. Mine was not returned and no explanation was given even after doing a walk through and being told I would receive the majority of the deposit I got none of it.
It's very glitch and has problems The fees are excessive and are not designed for the convenience of the resident. Why have a portal for residents that doesn't help them The fees are so high to make a payment on time, how is it different than late fees
These are great apartments in a great area. They are a bit old and that might bring some issues, but the maintenance and office staff are always very friendly and quick to respond to such issues. We are loving our time here and will always recommend it to others.
The complex is a little older but it has been recently updated. It's quiet, and cozy and the area is great. The maintenance team is efficient and quick to respond. I really like living here.
Love living here. Management is great to work with. Both Robert and Diane are very customer service oriented.
