    I would suggest NOT living here. I will NOT be renewing my lease here once my time is up. Barvin (the MGMT company) is waiting to take all your money. 1. Ever since they enforced visitor registration my boyfriend has been towed twice. Anytime a guest comes you MUST register them in an app and you MUST register them every 24 hours. You are only allowed one guest per day and if you have any more than one guest they must park on the street. - The most recent time was when his car was registered until 7:11PM and I re-registered his car at 7:15PM. HPDs website showed that they towed us at 6:50PM. The towing company towed him at 7:12PM- NOT EVEN A MINUTE AFTER HIS REGISTRATION WAS UP. No one could explain to me why a governmental website said 6:50PM if it was actually 7:12PM. - The towing company lurks in the parking garage waiting for peoples registration to be up. They do not give you any grace period to re-register your visitors car. I would understand if it was 30 minutes late to register, but a MINUTE?? - After voicing my concerns to the front office, they gave me the run around. I asked for corporates number and they still havent gotten back to me (its been since Monday even though Ive followed up multiple times). You are in the business of customer service. Ive asked for their information more than once and still have not been given any contact information 2. My move-in day was on a Friday and I couldnt even move into my apartment until the following Monday, but they happily took my money for the days I couldnt move-in. Either my key fob didnt work OR my garage scanner wouldnt let me into the garage. Without a working key fob or garage scanner, I couldnt get into the building for 3 days - Once again, I tried voicing my concerns to the front office and the same thing. They didnt take any blame. I asked them for corporates number and they told me corporate would reach out (they didnt because I doubt they forwarded my information to them)

    Crime is rampant in this complex. Every floor smells like weed and drug dealers are clearly operating a large ring in this complex. Strangers always walking around the garage and hallways. Guns have been brandished by people in the garage. Cars have been stolen or broken into every other day. Management does nothing to address the crime issues. Im really considering paying the almost 5k to get out of my lease because I have almost paid that much to repair and replace parts of my vehicle that were broken or stolen here despite taking extra measures to make it difficult for thieves.

    New management is making improvements to the property. Latest problems are with other residents who treat the property like a dormitory. Dog urine and poop in the hallways. Constant weed smell in the hallways and even coming into apartments. Im out of here at the end of my lease. Save the trouble and look elsewhere.

    New management is awful in every way. Barvin, the new company, couldnt manage a Cub Scout pack. Maintenance problems at the amenities have been persistent, communication has been poor, and they consistently act in bad faith toward residents. Became a miserable living experience - I shouldnt have to even think about my management company this month. Cant wait to leave

    If you are looking to rent here- DO NOT DO IT. I have been a resident here for 5 years. 4 months ago, ownership and management changed. It has been a disastrous decline in service ever since. Locks to the building garage, entrances, and sometimes individual units go out unexpectedly and have been left unrepaired for up to a month. Theft has increased. The grills have been broken/offline for over 100 days. All 9 of them! Not a single update has come from management to residents with any information about why or when it gets fixed. The pool has been closed or unavailable for nearly 2 months... also without reason why (there's a fun layer of algae film growing over the surface currently). Management is attempting to require residents to go pick up their mail.... offsite. Yes, you have to drive away from home to go get mail that was sent... to your home. In general, management is unresponsive. Residents are visibly frustrated; the common chatter in elevators and and amenities (the few that still work) is on how sad we are at the drastic difference in service and quality of life. Save yourself the trouble; don't even bother looking here. Even at half the rent it's not worth it. Would you honestly want to live in an apartment where none of the amenities work and you aren't sure if your locks go out that they will get fixed?? There are a bunch of great apartments nearby- use your money and go to one of them.
