I love living by the water. Hidden Lake gives you a sense of nature with the city around the corner. Great staff and maintenance. Things are always handled promptly.
I've lived here almost 7 months now and I can't say enough how amazing the staff is here. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The location is fantastic. It's right off the road but tucked away so you don't really hear the traffic. The nearby lake and pool are peaceful and relaxing. The only issues I have with this apartment are the noise and I wish the gym had more equipment. You can hear doors being shut from the downstairs apartment. I can hear whenever my neighbor has a shower or flushes the toilet. I can hear conversations clear as day through my front door whenever my neighbors are outside. I can't imagine how loud footsteps would sound if I was in a downstairs apartment. Although this is my first apartment and I'm not used to living in such close proximity to other people, it might just be that I'm overly sensitive to noise. Overall, I love this place and tend to stay here for a while.
I love living here and I would highly recommend it
My kids and I really enjoy living here at Hidden Lake apartments. For the most part it is a pretty quiet place to live. If I have a maintenance request, they are usually out that same day. I can make that request online too, which is a nice plus. They've come out to change the lights in the kitchen, or to change an air filter. They have always been so nice and patient, especially with my 5 year old asking them 50 questions while they are there. They always make you feel like you are a priority.
The living space is great and nicely updated. When I renewed my lease, they had someone come out and shampoo the carpets for us. They even applied new caulking around the tubs. I am totally in love with the kitchen. It is by far the largest apartment kitchen I have ever encountered. It has tons of cabinet and counter space. At the end of the kitchen there is a full size washer and dryer. I hate laundry mats, it's so nice having that washer and dryer there.
The patio is HUGE, I don't think I can ever go back to having a tiny patio. There space for a full size outdoor table and chairs, bikes, the kids outdoor toys. There is also a storage closet out there. It really is just a great spacious place.
We live upstairs so I don't really know how the sound is for the bottom apartment. With two rowdy kids I would imagine it would be loud but we've never had an issue with them complaining about the noise. Ive lived places that you could hear every single step they made.
The one negative is the parking. It's not even the apartments fault, its people not knowing how to park. Parking on the line and not giving enough space to get my kids in their car seats. I had to knock on my neighbors door and ask her to move her car. It was that or ding up her car door. She was apologetic about it and it wasn't really her fault, it was the person next to her who parked way over the line, not giving her enough room to park. It's just a bad pattern, kind of inconsiderate to your neighbors
Overall, it is a nice place to live. Quiet complex. Overly pet-friendly not an animal lover . Staff is good and respond to request withing a reasonable time. Work out facility entrance is through the pool area so you can only have access during swimming hours which doesn't work well with those who like to workout early mornings or late nights. The actual apartments are nice, but could stand to be modernized both inside and out.
What is a Certified Resident?
A resident who lives at the property and has completed a resident satisfaction survey.
Advertising properties provide a list of email addresses of its residents to Kingsley Associates, a third party market research firm, who then sends out the satisfaction survey to the residents. Properties may also conduct satisfaction surveys of its residents through other third party market research firms. In those cases, we will publish those survey responses as long as the questions conform to our standard survey format.
Because reviews are from Certified Residents, and are managed by a third party, you can feel confident that the feedback provided is accurate and trustworthy.
