The Houston Community College System is a network of six separate colleges that provide a rounded education and student living the areas of Houston, Missouri City and Stafford, in Texas. After Houston’s first community colleges evolved into fully-accredited universities, the district founded the HCCS in 1971 to again offer education to students at the community college level. Since 1997, the Houston Community College system has allowed students to transfer credits to district-operated campuses throughout the HCCS’s service area. Now, more than 57,000 aspiring scholars enroll at one of these campuses and find suitable student housing in the area to support their unique lifestyle.

Because of the HCCS’s wide reach, student housing at one of the system’s schools can be found in Bunker Hill Village, Hedwig Village, Hilshire Village, Hunters Creek Village, Katy, Missouri City, Piney Point Village, Spring Valley Village, Stafford, Houston, Jacinto City andd Pearland. The institution operates Central College, the Colman College of Health Sciences, Northeast College, Northwest College, Southeast College and Southwest College, wich together span 16 campuses and learning centers. Houston Community College apartments are located near each of these institutes.

The wide range of neighborhoods surrounding HCCS learning centers give students a variety of options as they search for off campus housing. One popular location is the school’s location on Main Street in Houston. A nearby college apartment places students among attractions like Crave Sushi, Esco-bar, and Yoga One Studios.
