What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About Frisco

The roads are immaculately kept, just like peoples yards. Any food place you could want is a 5-10 minute drive away

Happy neighbors, lots of good families. Friendly people all around me, lots of nature, trees, flowers nice looking yards. No home owners association, no politics from jealousies.

My neighborhood is very close to schools, shopping and medical facilities. There is a major hospital 1.5 miles away which is convenient for emergency care. There are a number of good restaurants nearby ranging from fast food to higher end dining. We also have professional sports teams, PGA headquarters, etc. My neighborhood is the only one nearby that does not have an HOA so is very attractive to many. So far everyone keeps their house and yard in good condition.

The unique part of my bldg is it is next to Toyota Stadium, a block away from restaurants and coffee shops. Plus, quarter mile from downtown Frisco, TX.

Everyone is the same age 55+, has several clubhouses, pools, gyms, tennis/pickle all courts and golf course. Limited access to development, near restaurants, bars and grocery stores

Lots of Asian inspired restaurants to fit the culture, high Asian and Indian population in neighborhood

All About

Living in Frisco, TX

If you're looking for an apartment in a growing, dynamic community known for its great shopping, parks and sports venues, then you'll love living in Frisco.

Frisco apartments are located in Collin County about 30 miles north of Dallas. The city is bordered by the affluent communities of The Colony, Plano and McKinney. Frisco is one of the fastest growing communities in the state with a pro-business stance and a strong workforce, thanks to the vision of its leaders who use a small percentage of local sales tax to fund the city's economic development group. Major employers in the area include Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Frito-Lay, Fujitsu, T-Mobile, Perot Systems and Capital One.

If you love to shop, rent an apartment in Frisco where you'll find retail giants Ikea, the massive Swedish discount furniture store, and Sam Moon Trading Company, formerly a wholesaler known for its chic clothes and accessories. You'll also find the upscale Stonebriar Centre with over 160 stores, including Macy's, Nordstrom, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic and Williams-Sonoma. And since you're literally right next door to Allen, you'll be minutes away from the Allen Premium Outlets, featuring 50 fine retailers like DKNY and Barneys New York Outlet. After a day spent shopping, grab your friends and head over to Bucca di Beppo for family-style Italian dining or drive down Preston Road's Restaurant Row where you can find a taste to match any mood.

Frisco always has something going on. Rent an apartment here to be near great parks and sporting events. The city maintains 43 parks spanning 1,369 acres and has set aside an addition 744 acres for future development. Frisco is home to the RoughRiders, a Texas AA Minor League Baseball team, and the North American Hockey League's Texas Tornado. Both play at the local Dr. Pepper Ballpark. If soccer is more to your liking, head over to Pizza Hut Park to catch FC Dallas, a major league soccer team. Cyclists take note: Frisco has a velodrome, the Superdrome, that's one of the premier tracks in the country. These are just some of the reasons why the city's slogan is Progress In Motion.
