I love the overall atmosphere of where I live. My interaction with the office staff is always cordial and friendly. My only concern is that furniture and trash get set outside the compactor. Although its mainly on the weekend, it is a frequent occurrence. Perhaps some signs can be placed on the doors to explain that no furniture should be placed outside the compactor and to direct people to the side door to dump their trash. It's an eye sore and extremely embarrassing to have guest come over and see that sitting at the dumpster as they are approaching my home. I am always recommending the community to my friends and I don't want that to be their first impression.
More events residents can attend in open areas that make access to the events more convenient. Maybe do some sort of charity drive, i.e. Canned food drive for the Allen Food Bank or Samaritan Inn in McKinney, that could help residents feel like a community. This benefits everyone involved.
With the diversity in the make up of the community it is hard to generate interaction of this many residents. Having breakfasts and other events like the staff runs is a good way if people will come.
i am probably a minority of one, but i really have a hard time with all of the trash laying around, and especially when people are too lazy to push trash down in the chute and they leave it on the ground. it is disgusting.
