So... we moved in in September, through living here, we discovered the apartment was not move in ready. The floors were basically shredded, blinds were missing and torn to shreds, there were visible holes in the walls where God knows what happened, the sink in the bathroom wasn't and still isn't fully attached, the dishwasher was "placed" not actually installed and so much more. We still have holes in the walls (we haven't found all of them yet) where rats enter the apartment when it gets cold outside. They don't show up to fill in the holes until you find them yourself. Because of this, one of the hoses to my clothes washer is now destroyed. We have gone through 4 dishwashers because they continuously installed broken ones when called or the rats keep entering the apartment and nesting in the mechanics of the washer. We waited exactly 1 calender month for one to show up. They magically "forgot". The manager is terrible and treats tenants like garbage. They do an "annual walk through" and you don't get to pick a time suitable for you for the day, so when they barge through the door while your baby is having a nap and freaks out they write you a nasty email and claim your husband (who signed the lease with you) is a strange man in your apartment and you broke your lease for him living there demanding for you to have him come up and join the lease he's already on. I went and got a copy from the only decent employee up at the office and she even said she planned to high tail it away from here. I don't blame her. I'm to the point I feel like they are harassing us to leave because they can't get their stuff together. I also requested to talk to someone about a noise complaint in October, they said they would take car of it. Well, come April, it still sounds like WWE combined with a drunken bar fight upstairs at all hours. It wakes us all up. I can't wait to get away from here. This place is 100% a nightmare. Oh... parking sucks too..

So bad they were actually forced to refund my rent.
Management is inept and incapable of providing even tolerable customer service or adherence to a mutually agreed upon lease. The property manager, incorrectly, assumes they can enter your apartment at any time they wish, even 8-9 o'clock in the evening, for unannounced inspections. In actuality, that is a direct violation of the lease.

Near the end of our lease, the apartment manager allowed maintenance to enter the property, without permission, to deliver product for the next residents. To repeat: while my wife and I were still leasing the unit, the manager allowed maintenance to deliver a large box of upgrades for the people renting the apartment after us.

After weeks of asking, I was finally given the contact information for the corporate supervisor. The first contact with her seemed promising, but quickly went downhill. Several times she would give us a deadline regarding a follow-up, but not once did she ever adhere to it; and I now know where the property management learned the behavior. After contacting the BBB and numerous other organizations regarding their blatant lease violations, they agreed to refund my rent.

The kicker: once again, the corporate manager was incapable of adhering to a set deadline. By her admission, I was to receive my final statement and refund by 5/31. On that day, around noon, I reminded the office that I was still waiting for it. I later received an email that it was sent out and that I would have it the next day. It was postmarked that day for over-night delivery, reiterating that they are completely incapable of adhering to deadlines they even set themselves.
Make the best decision you can and do not rent from this incompetent company.
