If you can afford better, do not live here. Ive lived here for 6 months and my water has been shut off (sometimes WITHOUT warning) at least twice a month. They cite it as leakages. I have a baby and having no water when you pay so much for it every month is not an option. Ive called and complained and was told that its in my lease agreement that they can shut the utilities off whenever they see fit. Ive looked through that agreement so many times and not once have a seen any language indicating that that is the case. The only thing I can say this apartment complex does well is they respond quickly to work orders. But instead of spending the extra money and fixing things properly, its all patch jobs. And dont believe them on the price you pay for your apartment. Once the water bill comes and its multiplied by 2 the allocation makes it outrageous (if you have multiple adults living int he apartment there is a multiplier). When we moved in I refused to move our stuff in without vacuuming the carpets, because I didnt believe they did it properly. Turns out I was right. My vacuum got filled 3 times in our 2 bedroom before i was finished. We found nails, staples, screws like they didnt even attempt to get it clean. Then we had someone come and steam clean and Ive never seen blacker water. If you dont like being eaten by bugs, steer clear of this place! Mid-summer we woke to mosquito bites all over our bodies then began seeing them all over our apartment. Eventually we taped up the vents because they had to be coming through there as we dont leave any windows open. Friends that live here all tell us different issues they have. Some have beetles. Some have cockroaches. Some have lizards. Ive had mosquitos and centipedes. If this isnt for you dont live here. SWAMP COOLER IS NOT WORTH IT. El Paso reaches temperatures of 105 or more in the summers and a swamp cooler is not the answer. Do not live here.

They hit me with fraudulent charges of over $300 after I came down on orders with the military. Claimed I hadnt paid the electric bill and they were billed. El Paso electric insists they were paid in full. Cant recommend this place to anyone.

I loved the area and where my apartment was located. I had some issues with tennants across the way that was resolved but it took some time. I would still reccomend loving there. It was unfortunate that I was only able to use the pool once as it was constantly dirty and then the waiting for the pool to open for the season was very inconvenient. It was a least a months or two into the hot season.

I really enjoyed the environment of Terrace Hills Apts! The community was a great blend of students, professionals and families. However, the office is lazy, unresponsive and simply disrespectful. They couldn't manage to open the pools until late may and never once filled the dog bags near my apartment. I'm not a pet owner but this obviously was a major factor in the amount of dog droppings in the lawn! I hope this place gets some better management soon before more of us have to leave.

The online rent pay is garbage!!! Cant pay my rent ahead of time. Why?? It wasn't like that before the website change. I used to be able to pay my rent on the 15th for the upcoming month. Now I can't. I have called the leasing management office and they could not tell me why. On top of that I was told I would get a call back about the website to explain why or hey the problem was fix, but that never happened. On a different subject, maintenance crew is great. They are very timely.
