Its what you would expect from a 60 year-old high rise apartment building. There are some issues, but know truthfully whats going on. The complaint about elevator inspections is untrue. They HAVE been inspected. They do break down often, but plans are in place to completely replace them. The problem is that it takes 6 months of downtime per elevator. Exactly WHEN would that be convenient??? Ive been here 7 months and only seen one roach in my apartment. Ive lived in houses with worse roach problems. BUT, I do put my trash out every evening for the concierge trash service and keep my apartment clean. I guess that makes it so there isnt anything for roaches to want. I get so tired of people whove been evicted or have been fined or assessed a fee posting negative reviews of this place. Its a perfectly nice place to live and actually rather luxurious for the price point. The apartments are spacious, the views on the higher floors (Im on 10) are breathtaking. Its a perfect place for a mature ADULT, who has experienced life and knows how to appreciate people trying to take an old building and make something nice of it. The folks in the front office know me by name, because I stop and talk to them. They are all nice, especially Shae, the manager. Maintenance team is really nice, but backed up, so it takes a little time for non-emergency maintenance issues to be addressed. Its pet friendly and most pet owners are responsible and keep the place tidy. There are some irresponsible people who dont know how to care for themselves, let alone animals, so sometimes pets pee in the elevator. Bottom line, the View is what you make of it. I think its 4 stars on the way to 5 as these owners keep investing money in repairs. If youre young, dumb, immature, impatient, cheap, living a life of champagne dreams and Boones Farm money, you will find this to be a one star experience. Dont let jaded people keep you from a really nice, affordable place to live.
Very dirty. The elevators are past due on inspection and break down often. A group of three girls got really aggressive with me in the elevator one night because they said I looked "bougie". The air conditioner/heater don't work. Roach situation is horrible! The ceiling in the lobby is always falling in and pieces are falling. The ceilings leak every time it rains. The office staff is not responsive at all. I have never seen a security officer on duty at this place. Don't move here. You will be locked in a lease you're desperate to get out of.
