be cautious about moving here, I have had nothing but issues here to the point that I don't even want to step out of my apartment. It started out with a great tour of the facility and we decided to move in, but that is where the pleasantness stopped. the first apartment I lived in the person above me stomped around all hours day and night. we complained to management and nothing changed. the person told management that it was not him and that he hears people outside all the time that is must be them. after three weeks of not being able to sleep thru the nite I asked to exercise my 30 clause to leave. the assistant manager offered a new apartment away from the person which did help out a lot. so the next issue is I have two really old dog, 10 and 12 that cannot walk up an down stairs. so we were walking to the pet area thru the top parking garage which is open to the outside. the dogs wouldn't always make it and wet in the top of the parking lot. there was a tenant that was not liking this and started to post notes on the door going in and out of the building threatening us with eviction if we didn't stop walking our dogs outside. after the 5th letter I took them all down to management and asked to stop the bullying from continuing. at that time the assistant manager told me that we were fine we were not in any violation of the policies or lease. then a month later I have a lease violation fine on my door. I was forced to stop walking my dogs that way and now have to carry them up and down stairs to pee, one 87 pounds other is 42. meanwhile others continue to pee and poo and leave it in the same parking lot, when I complained about it I was told that we will take care of it, its still happening to this day. all that in the first two months. now i was cleaning and had a box and bag outside my door and they called and stated real snotty "pick up and throw it away now, i sure would hate to fine you". Run run away far as you can.

Maintenance resolved every issue right away. He's very nice and friendly.
Great friendly staff. I have lived in several apartments. This is the best staff. They are like super nice! They go above and beyond to help you! Crime Watch Meetings
Nice clubhouse
Clean exterior. I have never seen any trash on the ground.
Nice pool.

Cons:

There is a risk your apartment will be burglarized or someone will break into your car. After I signed my lease, I was walking to the garage to unpack my car. The patrol officer told me to lock my doors because there were two car break in. I was concerned but it was nothing I could do about it. I felt safe until my apartment was burglarized a few weeks ago. They kicked in the door! My apartment and an apartment in the same building were burglarized. It was definitely an awful experience but maintenance fixed my door the same night.

The apartment no longer accept packages so you have to pay for Parcel Pending!

Guest parking is horrible. There are only like 10 spots for like hundred apartments. Your guest will have to park at Yard House and pray they don' t get towed. It hasn't happened yet but you never know. The good news is that you shouldn't have difficulty parking inside the gate if you're a resident. I paid for a reserved spot but it wasn't needed. There were always spots available.

Would I refer this apartment to family and friends? Yes! I felt safe majority of the time. I'm a single woman so safety is a priority. You will just need to make sure you have a dog, security alarm, and renters insurance. No apartments are immune to burglaries. I really enjoyed my apartment. It definitely deserve 4.5/5 stars!!!!

Nice place overall. Rent is a bit expensive since it doesn't include free covered parking & package delivery like my last place did.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time while living at VV&M. The location makes it easy to walk to the Addison social scene, the apartment is very nice and relatively new, the amenities and features are exceptional, and the management team has been excellent at handling any questions or issues in a very timely fashion. I would recommend considering VV&M to anyone looking to move to Addison.
