"When you call Post Uptown Village your home, you'll feel like you've escaped the city to a quaint little community. Nestled right in Uptown Dallas, we're just minutes away from great restaurants, shopping and entertainment in Downtown or at the American Airlines Center. Other fun places to visits is nearby House of Blues and the Dallas World Aquarium. We're also conveniently located to the Arts District, where the DART M-Line Trolley can take you to galleries, bistros and more.
Our community grounds will transport you back to a more romantic era with large outdoor fireplaces, courtyard fountains and a landmark bell tower. But the modern amenities will bring you back to present as you enjoy a resort-style swimming pool and controlled-access entries and parking garages. You'll also love the luxury features offered in many of our lofts and apartment homes, such as unique layouts, pretty fireplaces and private balconies."
Lease terms are variable. Please inquire with property staff.
Granted, I've been here a week, but my experience with the staff to date has been very good. They've been responsive when I call or email in getting everything I needed pre-move in. I got a 1 bed, 1 1/2 bath unit with a study and while there's no dedicated storage in the unit, the cupboard space has been enough that I have been able to fit everything (coming from a house to an apartment). When I moved in and needed maintenance, he was here within a couple of hours and got everything I needed done. When the fob unit wasn't opening the garage, the staff replaced it right away. The unit appears a bit old, but you can't beat the location - I can walk to AAC and West End easily, walked to the Performing Arts Center for a show in under 10 minutes and I can catch the free McKinney Ave trolley just up the street.
A few things that could have been better would be a built in microwave and I have the most interesting laundry room ever - it's basically at the back of the half bath and is an interesting fit with the toilet nearby. But overall, it's relatively quiet in an excellent location.
The call box to let people in never works
They dont have a back up for when the door system shuts down.
The water doesnt stay hot
They make it impossible to pay rent easily
Its not that cute
Some buildings dont have elevators
Not enough parking
Way overpriced for what you get
Gym is small, not a lot of equipment
Only good thing they have going for them is the location....
Horrible and I hate here
Post Uptown Village is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. I am beyond thankful to have come across this community and couldn't picture living anywhere else for as long as I live in Uptown. The convenience of Post certainly sealed the deal in my decision to live here.
Great place for a decent price!
