I think the rent is only justifiable based on the location - the property is not that great or safe. The security doors never all work at once, at any given time there is at least one door not secure - which probably explains why I have had to call on three different occasions to report a homeless person wandering the halls. The apartment does promptly respond to the calls, however the fact that the doors are so easy to get into in the first place. There have also been car break-ins since I've lived here, which is surprising for a locked garage. I rented this apartment specifically with plans to buy a home. Just an FYI, if you plan on doing this, the apartment will not provide proof of residence and that you pay rent and pay it on-time. They claim you have to give notice, you can't really give notice until you close on a home. My loan processor said she has never had an apartment so difficult or deny proof of residence in 33 years. This is pretty par for the course, unless it is a safety issue - they don't really run the apartment like a professional business. I try to avoid as much interaction with this office for this exact reason.

As a single female living alone in Dallas, Post Meridian is the best place to live. You feel safe and that's what is most important! Also all of the staff is wonderful, the building is always clean and the location can't be beat!

This location is excellent! Across the street from State & Allen restaurant and Parliament, a block from The Nodding Donkey and all the fun on McKinney Avenue. Griggs Park, Klyde Warren Park, and the Katy Trail are about a five minute walk away. The M-Line is two blocks away, too. With Whole Foods opening, groceries are less than two blocks away. I love living here!

Management and leasing agents at Post Meridian are so kind are truly care about your concerns as a resident. They are prompt at communicating and have made the move in and move out process stress free. The location of the complex is ideal and the furnishings inside the units are new and worth the $$. I'd recommend anyone to live here!
