I've been living here for about 7 months and have had way more trouble here than I have at any other complex. Management staff is nice, but they seem really disorganized. I had submitted my renter's insurance when I signed my lease, but 6 months later I got a notice saying they didn't have the paperwork on file and they were going to charge me a $70 non-compliance fee! On top of that, it's impossible to get maintenance to do anything around here. When I first moved in, some appliances weren't working properly (dishwasher wouldn't drain), so I called Maintenance out, and the guy just took a cursory glance and said it seemed to be working fine then left. I ended up fixing it myself. This summer, my A/C was out for a whole month, during which time I called and submitted service requests almost every day, throughout the middle of summer. It's still not fixed entirely, but after all of that they finally cleaned the outside unit coils, which has helped a little bit. One of the lower staff had come in the day before that while it was 83 degrees inside at 9pm and insisted that it everything was working just fine and it was actually really cool inside, then revealed a filthy air filter that clearly hadn't been changed before I moved in (or maybe even before the previous tenant had moved in). The apartments also had some foundation damage due to the many trees that were once growing all around the complex, but now most of them have been cut down. I can't blame the management for that, as it was affecting the structural integrity of the apartments, but it's still a shame nonetheless. Rent's going way up this year, and I'm not sure why because this place really isn't in a good enough state to be charging close to $1k for a 12-month lease on a single bedroom. Also recently heard from a new tenant that she was upsold an upgraded unit for more money, but was assigned to an old, unupgraded unit anyway. The bathroom door even hit the toilet and wouldn't open! Look elsewhere!!!

The property does have its issues however maintenance helps out alot to mitigate the little stuff turning into big stuff. Danny the maintenance man is awesome he is soo helpful and really knowledgeable. He is honest and up front and has integrity.

Im in midst of deciding wether or not to move. I came and checked out Marsh Creek and the staff was AMAZING and so helpful. Will definitely consider this property if i decide to move for sure!
