The uptown Dallas apartments L2 Uptown presents itself as luxury Dallas apartments. Since the takeover by the Connor Group on May 19, 2020, our opinion on the value of these luxury apartments in Uptown has decreased significantly. We are current residents, living in our apartment, paying $1,532 per month in our monthly rent, for an A7 style apartment, on the first floor, facing the courtyard. This apartment style and location is, in our opinion one of the most appealing due to the size and the location, and both parties agreed on the signature of the lease that $1,532 per month was fair value of the apartment. However, since the acquisition by Connor Group, we have experienced, in our opinion, a significant degradation of the value and diminuition of the luxury associated with these apartments. We have had issues with garbage, cleanliness, pest control, security, and communication with management. The attached pictures show what we are currently getting for the $1,532 per month that we are paying for this luxury Uptown apartment. We will leave it up to you, the reader, to determine whether or not this justifies the price that we are currently paying, and whether or not you would want to live in these conditions. We encourage you to consider other apartments for rent in Uptown Dallas TX to see if you think that L2 represents a better deal than any other apartment complex in the Uptown area. As an example, I have written managemement on three separate occasions, May 31, June 2, and June 7, 2020 regarding both garbage and cleanliness as well as security of the building, and as of the time that I am writing this review, June 22, 2020, I have yet to receive a response from management on any of these issues. Another example is that Connor Group says on their website that L2 has a coffee bar. The coffee bar is a turned off coffee machine and no coffee packets, despite the pool, the gym, and the community grills being open for weeks.
