Highly recommend this community. We lived here for four years (since it opened) and we truly enjoyed every moment of it. The management is really great - it's a business of course so their job is to make money, but they do try to go above and beyond to make sure you are happy here and have everything you need. Maintenance is very responsive and gets things fixed quickly. The real star is the concierge staff - every one of them really make an effort to know your name and do whatever they can to help you. They really make the place feel more like home. The hardest part of leaving was saying goodbye to them!! The units are great - high end fixtures, quiet (even though the neighborhood is noisy), great views. The community is kept clean and high-end looking. Balconies are very spacious. Amenities are nice - the pool is a little bit of a letdown because it doesn't get much sun and you have to pay to use the cabanas, but it is a really nice pool area. The location can't be beat, having Whole Foods downstairs is incredibly convenient and there are tons of bars, restaurants, and shops in the area. I would live here again in a heartbeat, we were very sad to leave. Highly recommended.

I love the location of Gables McKinney Ave; the convenience of being co-located with Whole Foods Market and just blocks away from the Katy Trail really fits my lifestyle. I don't have a car so being in location with a healthy grocery store, blocks from the Katy Trail and access to the Dallas Trolley are amenities I don't take for granted!

I really enjoy the life at the Gables McKinney Avenue thanks to its favorable location. I don't have trouble with daily shopping at Whole Foods Market even if it rains or it was thunderstorm. I can also enjoy going bar-hopping until late at night on weekends. In contrast to the outside noise, the inside of the apartment is very quiet. So I can relax at home everyday.
