While the lights in the corridors get replaced, the landscape lighting has not been functional for sometime. Lived here for a number of years, and I have noticed that lights stay burned out for long periods of time. Simple fixes as restoring the landscape lighting and replacing light bulbs promptly go a long way to improving the security and appearance of the property. I don't interact with the maintenance staff, but in the past they have been friendly and prompt when my a/c went out. My low score for maintenance has to do with the property lighting and the damage the valet trash staff has done especially to the doors. For an example look at the trash chute doors. They are either now disfigured and/or won't shut. Boxes are also left in the trash chute rooms for long periods of time.
Make rent costs slightly cheaper.
It would be nice if they had a monthly social hour or mixer to meet the other residents.
More social events might make the apartment having a better sense of community.
Clean the gym (this is the most lacking regarding the maintenance staff, others are ok), better pest control around the building (cockroaches), invest less into appearance and more into residence with 'events' --- not BYOB parties, that's so tacky.
