We rented a unit on the 14th floor of the 3700M building from October 2014 through August 2017. Given the wealth of available alternatives in the area, and the high-price point of 3700M, we do not recommend this building. Despite charging over $2000 for relatively small one-bedroom apartments, we felt that 3700M was unable to maintain the level of service and comfort that they hold themselves out as providing.

First, we found 3700M to be fundamentally unfair during the apartment closing process. 3700M attempted to collect beyond our security deposit for issues that, we felt, were clear examples of ordinary wear and tear for which the building is not entitled to collect. This was despite our willingness to pay for damage to the carpet, which many tenants would have also viewed as ordinary wear and tear. Our experience led us to believe 3700M views move-out as an opportunity to nickel-and-dime its residents for charges they dont anticipate the ordinary resident will be willing challenge. We were quiet uneventful tenants; if you plan on having parties at your apartment, the level of damage the building tries to recover for could be extreme.

Additionally, a number of amenities and safety provisions that the building claims to provide were not always available. The garage doors were broken multiple times, allowing public traffic in and out of the garages. The swimming pool was unavailable for maintenance far more often than weve experienced with other buildings. The building seemed unable to retain quality concierges, and the desk was often vacant or staffed by temporary employees who were not well-trained and were unable to assist with basic requests.

In sum, 3700M holds itself out as a premier luxury apartment building and charges rent commensurate with that representation. But we did not feel that it provided such a level of service and accommodation. If we were in the market for a similar unit in the future, we would look elsewhere.

3700M is a wonderful place to live in DFW. If you are looking for a spot in Uptown/West Village, then this is the spot for you. The building is relatively new and you can tell just by walking in, they keep it pristine. The apartment have new appliances and beautiful hardwood floors.

Living at 3700M has far exceeded my expectations. The staff is helpful and friendly, the building is modern and well-kept, and the residents are fantastic.

3700M is clean, convenient, and well-maintained. Although the complex is centered in the heart of West Village above busy streets, construction, and alongside planes landing at the nearest airport, the walls and windows or nearly soundproof. A 24 hour stuff is not only a perk one coming in later in the night or early in the morning, but its always nice to see a welcoming face when you arrive.
