From what I have seen so far, the apartments are very large, they have wood floors, a nice kitchen and large baths. As a potential resident the virtual tour is very appealing. I will definitely check out the apartments in-person.
The property is nice, and the buildings are new. Which makes the maintenance problems pretty impressive. There is a crack in the foundation and doors do not close properly. I have been here a year and had ants twice, and seen several roaches despite constant cleaning, and using my own roach products. As others have mentioned there is quite the spider infestation, they also have wasps. They refuse to pay for enough dumpsters and are now threatening to charge the tenants more for "valet trash pickup". Minor maintenance has been ignored and poorly handled: a simple appliance repair involved 4 phone calls, 1 trip to the office and 3 visits by maintenance and even the manager. Management is just bad here. Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else. If you must use the lake just drive through the broken gate like everyone else.
Ive been a resident here for nearly 3 years. Ive had no issues with any spiders as so many others have mentioned on previous reviews. Although there has been a recent increase in small roaches, management always sends pest control within a couple days. HOWEVER, it seems in recent months theres been an increase in residents who could possibly be living off the governments dime. An increase in police presence, rude and hurried drivers, and numerous cars waiting at the gate are just a few indicators. Do your research before paying 1100 a month for a tiny apartment with your neighbor kicking back allowing everyone else to pay for theirs.
There have been multiple faces at this property. Perhaps a sit-down and a class of professionalism is needed and a better review of incoming resumes. I love my apartment I love the property. However, being a resident that pays on time and has never been late, I am apparently frustrated with the way management deals with things. Yes, I get it the staff is probably sick of hearing the same complaint from multiple residents of the BUG issues. I get it were in TEXAS and its ranch like living by the lake. But how about a reevaluation of how residents feel concerning this matter- having to just deal with it until the issue gets worst. Flying insects, spider haven, I cant even enjoy being outside on my patio nor my front patio and carport. Today, I swept my exterior walls and ceiling! Not only that I wiped it down too with a wet rag. Not just on my patio but also the entry way of the exterior building wall that is accumulating these annoying flying insects and spiders like crazy! In the past I have even went to the extreme to sweep my carport and the rest of the carport that covers my neighbors, the entire row YOUR WELCOME. I literally cant even park my washed car under the carport without having droppings coming from the spiders and flying insects. I washed it Saturday come Sunday droppings everywhere. That was a waist of a car wash, money and time. In the past, after persistently asking and feeling like I am a burden to their daily dutiesthey had finally power washed my carport and exterior building- perhaps because I mentioned I was going to contact corporate.
Don't be fooled by the nice look. Management is horrendous! They do not care about the residents at all and are constantly looking for ways to get money out of you. Staff is very unprofessional and not trained properly (Amanda) even though their residents' money is at stake. I lived here from Aug 2018-March 2019, when in reality I mostly stayed here from Sept-December. In that small amount of time, my AC went out about 2-3 times and the maintenance man that "fixed it" was rude (he looks like his would be Ed). I told them about the many spiders/spider webs that were around my apartment and the property but nothing was ever done about them. I even found a scorpion in my kitchen, mind you I stayed on the second floor. I stayed in building 6 about 50-75 feet from the lake/pond and my neighbor warned me that the coyotes could be seen roaming by our building. Do yourself a favor and DON'T STAY HERE! THEY PLAY WITH YOUR MONEY
