Listen, Johnathan absolutely made it easy to move here. From.the moment I walked in the door, He made me feel like I was at home already. Evey step of the way ,he was on top of everything! I am.new to the area ,on a job assignment. Johnathan made everything stress free. One call, lights taken care of, one snap of the finger, cable taken care of. Needed to know where to get furniture for my place, one call, one referral, got everything one place. When I saw he is Awesome, trust me he put the Awesome in Awesomesauce!!
I lived at Sawgrass Apartment for quite some time. Initially it was owned by Greystar and was a fairly decent place to live based on price and location. In early 2018 Greystar sold it to a new company and I unfortunately cannot recommend them or Sawgrass. The complex itself has not been kept clean, with the paint on the buildings chipping off. The first couple of months with the new ownership, they did not know what the rent was for the tennants, so they told us to just put what we paid the previous months, and if we were wrong they would just add it to the next months rent. The new staff was antagonistic, and every time I spoke with them, they were incredibly defensive and treated you like you did something wrong. Definitely not out to help you, but more so just deal with you. The maintenence staff was unreliable. The head maintanence guy routinely forgot to follow up on stuff he was working on in my apartment and I would have to call back multiple times for him to finish whatever he was fixing in my apt. Any time they did fix something they did not clean up their mess.
The worst offense though, was that the new people in charge added fees to our monthly rent that was not present before. They literally started charging $5 for the paper that they printed you monthly rent on. I'm not joking. They also added a sewage maintenance fee that either wasn't there before or was a minimal fee, because they jumped it up from nothing to another extra $20 or $30 a month. When I questioned the staff about that, they were incredibly defensive said that's what I owe.
It used to be a solid complex, but with the new management , the lack of maintenance, and the slow decay of the complex from the outside, I would avoid moving here.

Sawgrass is a fairly well priced apartment complex with a nice management staff and maintainance team. Although they seem to cut corners when renovating apartments. Experienced many problems within weeks of moving in
Was super excited to move into Sawgrass. I was very pleased upon move in! Staff was extremely welcoming and made my leasing and move in process go by so smoothly. The community has been beyond welcoming as well.
