The staff responded as though they did not want to help me or sell me on living here . Not only tone of voice I was just forwarded the floor plans. When I asked about proximity to a few specific grocery stores I was informed to google the location , she was new to the area and did not know.
This property just lost a future tenant .
I think there should be more community events allowing residents to mingle more. There also needs to be more attention paid to trash being left out and residents not cleaning up after there pets.
I think that the breezeways and stairs need regular maintenance, such as: Removing the massive spider webs from the lighting fixtures, replacing dead light bulbs, pressure washing the breezeway and stairs to remove stains caused by several things - namely, people dragging their leaking trash bags to the curb.
I terms of innovating current systems... I believe that may be more pleasant ways to provide curbside trash pickup other than literally placing the trash in the midst of walkways that were not constructed with trash pickup in mind. The trash is creating unsightly stains.
Lastly, I think that for the price of rent, I could be provided a considerably better AC air filter. I find it difficult to fathom the currently provided filter actually "filtering" anything. I can see straight through it which leads me to realize that air and particles are also getting through - might as well not use it.
Also, not being forced to purchase cable would be awesome. We are in an age of internet streaming and so the cable offering isn't "that" great anymore. You could see about cutting the requirement all together or potentially consider replacing the "incentive" with an internet offering instead.
The process for the after hours security line to ring to maintenance when there is noise after 10 at the pool is frustrating. They call you back you then put the work back on you to call the police to report the noise. It's not the residents fault there is not a security officer. The staff needs a better plan for this! Part of running a business (complex) is people come and go. The leaders responsibility is have plans for these situations that don't put more work back on the residents.
Usually, the community grounds are kept in great shape. However, in the past few weeks, a number of new residents have moved into my building (16 at Silverado), and they evidently haven't realized that at Silverado, we take PRIDE in how our community looks. I have seen an alarming number of empty beer cans and cigarette butts on the grounds around our building. I hope that the staff will send out a general communication to ALL residents "reminding" us that we do not just toss our trash on the ground.
