Totally worth the read if you want the true inside scoop on Chappell Oaks Apartments in Belton, Texas. This property is one of the oldest apartment complexs in Belton and tries to lead you to believe they are just as good or even better than the other newer apartment complexs in Belton. Beware because all you will get are lies and empty promises from this location. They have tried and done a few cosmetic changes to apartments to lead you to believe its something that it is not. Maintenance well forget that, its just as bad as the management, totally not qualified. Basically all the maintenance staff can do is very minor and are just a so called garbage pick up person three days out of the week. This property preys on the elderly and military so beware of that. I have felt so sorry for all the stories I have heard from all the residents here. All the residents have said they have brought up concerns over the property, maintenance issues that are never addressed, all like everything else here falls on deaf ears. Parking you only get one reserve spot and there are very, very few other spots for visitors to park. A lot of the residents here have multiple vehicles and take up all the non reserved spots. So you will more than likely have to have visitors have you pick them up at Walmart or HEB since they will have no place to park here. In closing, the only option you have if you sign a lease here is wait for it to be up and leave as fast as you can. This property is totally not worth what they are charging for rent, its old and dated. Better choice would be to choose one of they newer properties in the area, better value totally for the same and or less money. Shop the other properties in the area and save not only money but peace of mind.
